You might have recently noticed some big changes over here at Rhema Design Co. We’ve got an entirely new look and refined services. I know what you’re thinking; ‘Aren’t you supposed to be the branding expert?’. Why yes, yes I am. Just stick with me and keep reading to learn why I rebranded my business.
The ‘new’ Rhema has the same name, same heart, and same person behind it. So, why did we rebrand? Well it has to do with brand strategy, which is something we put a huge focus on here at Rhema. Every brand design project starts with strategy, since that heavily influences the visual elements of the brand, like the logo, photography, and typography.
When Rhema Design Co began back in April of 2017, I was just a little baby designer. Sure, that was just a year and a half ago but I’ve grown so much as a designer, business owner, and human. When Rhema began I was really targeting anyone who would pay me, and #spoileralert that didn’t work out at all. But, in the year and a half I’ve been in business, I’ve discovered who I really enjoy working with. I thrive working with small, female owned businesses striving to bring good into the world. My copywriter really captured it perfectly; “Brand designs with impact for small businesses with missions that matter.”
A lot of thought and consideration went into this rebrand. This time around, I treated myself as a client and went through my full strategy process. It was super challenging to take a step back and view my own business, which I’ve poured my heart and soul into, from the outside. I rebranded my business with the goal for it to be simple, intentional, and timeless. I’m absolutely biased, but I think I nailed it, right?
